Summary of 23 things

In rereading some of my earlier posts I have found some discrepancies. The most obvious to me is RSS. I could see no use for my using this tool, but I use it almost daily now. The bad part is once again time. I have been spending more time on the computer with these assignments and being as how this is week 12 I should be getting my time back. But no I will probably continue to waste (use) my Saturday mornings and my Sundays and my Mondays oh any way that's what I got out of this program (personally).

Actually I have enjoyed learning about different webs sites, social networking, blogging and talking to people less knowledgeable than I. They think I know something, I just have to be careful not to talk to people who actually use these “things”. I have also been able to describe some web sites that I thought others would find fun or useful.

On the whole it really has been a positive experience. Thank you for offering this program and for following through to the end.

I'm starting to feel like I'm in a Dr. Seuss book - ( thing #1 or thing #15). I do not own a digital camera or a camera phone so for me flickr offers no use. But I can see how it could be used to aid in promoting certain activities in the libraries and for keeping in touch with those who attend outside conventions.

I have been listening to audio books on my mp3 player for quite a while. In fact this is my third player. I have put audio books on hold and waited for the e-mail notice. I enjoy being able to listen to a book while doing dishes, ironing, or eating out (by myself not with company)
I will say it isn't always a 1,2,3 step proposition but with computers I have found that jumping through hoops is a requirement, more often than most computer geeks like to admit.
I also enjoy watching old movies and was pleased to see some old movies at net library. I even watched an old Sullivan show with Elvis as the main guest, so I must say this was one easy week. Thank you. I need an easy week now and then.

I've been working on the assignment for week 3 and am still trying to figure out why. Not sure what I will use this for but am interested in going on, I need to find out why or how or what makes it so addictive. pwk

Left handed + dyslexic = doing everything backwards

Basically that is how I have been learning for years. It still works, that is if you are reading this. I have used and reused the left arrow button in selecting a template. I guess if I got this far, I must have learned something new.
